When I was a kid we used to go to the surf shops at the beach on vacation and make our parents buy us one or two t-shirts from each one. When we got back to school we would have the coolest vintage t shirts with logos from all the different surf shops down at the beach, making our friends jealous. If we traveled somewhere far away, we would get a souvenir t-shirt with the name of that place we traveled to on it. When we got back to school again, we would wear those t-shirts and again make our friends jealous by showing them where we went, and having the t-shirt to prove it. They are not so expensive that we cannot get as many as we want. Of course these days you can order tshirts online that have those faraway places on them and have them shipped to your door without you ever having to go to that place. You can order shirts from Paris, France even if you have never been there. |
